Deer Cloud for Nonprofits
Run your volunteer community on Discord. Nonprofits get free use of the Stag plan, with hands-on setup help. We ask for nothing in return.
What you get
- Free use of the Stag plan
- Up to 25,000 members and every module
- Your organization's own bot name, avatar, banner and bio on your server
- A dashboard team of 10, and more or fewer if your organization needs it
- Unlimited custom achievements, level reward roles and scheduled announcements
- Weekly staff report and one year of mod log
- Organizations with several branches can ask for three servers
We set it up with you
We work through your channels, roles, modules and team permissions with you, one to one, and you get priority support on Discord afterwards.
How it helps a volunteer community
- Welcome new volunteers: welcome messages, verification and role panels sort people into teams
- Keep everyone informed: scheduled announcements and an FAQ
- Handle requests: private tickets and a suggestion board
- Thank your volunteers: achievements and levels make their work visible
- Show your progress: a public roadmap your community can follow
Who can apply
Registered associations and foundations, and non-profit volunteer networks. Political parties and campaigns, groups that promote hate or discrimination, and organizations run for a company's benefit can't join. We start with a first group of 10 organizations.
How to apply
- Open a ticket on our Discord server
- Tell us your organization's name, your registration or website, and your Discord server
- We review it and send you a code, then we set up the bot together
Full application details are coming soon.
Good to know
- Please don't use the bot to collect sensitive details about the people you help, such as health, ID or address information
- Deer Cloud is run by a small team on one server, so we can't promise uninterrupted service for emergency or disaster response
What's next
Tell us what your organization needs. If nonprofits need something the bot can't do yet, we'd like to design for it. Nothing is promised yet, but your input shapes what we build.
