Last updated 2 November 2026. Deer Cloud is in beta; this page will change as it grows.
Signing in
When you log in with Discord we receive your Discord id, name and avatar, and the list of servers you own or manage. We keep these in your session for up to 7 days so the dashboard can show your servers. We use Discord's access token once at sign-in and do not store it.
What the bot stores for a server
So its features work, Mighty Deer stores per server: its settings; counts of messages and voice minutes per member (not message text); warnings, private staff notes and the moderation log; achievements and points; suggestions and bug reports; support ticket transcripts; and announcements. Deleted and edited messages are only shown in the server's own mod log channel if the server turns that on.
Cookies
We use two cookies: one for your session and a short one during sign-in. No analytics, ads or tracking.
Payments
Paid plans are Patreon memberships. Patreon handles your payment details; we never see them.
Where data lives
The website and its database run on Cloudflare (EU region). The bot and its data run on our own server. We do not sell or share data with anyone.
Removing data
Removing the bot from your server stops all collection. To have a server's or your own data deleted, open a ticket on our Discord server.
